Villa to issue student loan debt cancellation letters this month

Villa Foundation has announced it will issue letters confirming the cancellation of student loan debt this month.

Villa said it will issue the letters from August 27-28.

The foundation asked students to submit their information by Sunday.

Villa Foundation’s chairman Qasim Ibrahim announced the cancellation of debt under the foundation’s scholarship and loan program earlier this month.

The blanket cancellation of student loan debt comes after he cancelled student loan debt medicine, nursing and medical areas, back in 2021.

Qasim, who is contesting the upcoming presidential election, said that education will be his top priority during his administration.
