FPA provides legal aid to domestic violence victims

The Family Protection Authority (FPA) has begun offering the assistance of lawyers to victims of domestic violence without the financial means to hire one themselves.

In a statement, FPA said the service will be available starting Tuesday.

FPA stressed that victims of domestic violence suffer from severe physical and mental trauma, and that it is therefore imperative that they receive the legal assistance they require to get justice.
