Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO)’s Managing Director Yoosuf Siraj, on Sunday, returned to work after completing his suspension.
A senior official from WAMCO told Sun that Siraj resumed his responsibilities as the managing director today.
Siraj was suspended for two weeks with pay and allowances.
Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), in an earlier statement, said they are investigating a governance case that relates to management through WMACO’s board. They detailed Siraj had been suspended as the corporation deemed it the best course of action as they investigate the case.
WAMCO’s official did not disclose the details of the case, however, said the investigation was still ongoing.
