IGMH launches new patient portal after leaks

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has launched a new patient portal following information leaks from its previous portal.

IGMH had ceased the use of its previous portal in February, following leak of confidential medical information of the hospital’s patients.

IGMH’s spokesperson said the portal they are currently using is a new one.

The spokesperson said the new portal has stronger security features, and there is no risk of information leaks.

“We are now using a new portal. We began using it after guaranteeing safety,” he said.

IGMH began using its new portal last Thursday. Patients can access the portal using eFaas.
