Three motorcycles collided in a road accident in Kulhudhuffushi City on Wednesday, leaving four people injured, including a middle-aged woman.
The accident took place around 11:00 am.
Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital’s spokesperson Mohamed Moosa told Sun that the hospital is treating four accident victims, and a fifth person who fainted upon witnessing the crash.
The four people injured in the accident were identified as a 29-year-old male, a 19-year-old male, a 66-year-old male, and a 66-year-old woman.
The witness who fainted was identified as a 30-year-old woman.
All five were taken to the hospital around 11:10 am.
The extent of the injuries to the victims of the accident are unclear at this point.
Police are operating at the scene.
