Non-resident Poland Ambassador pays farewell call on President Solih

The non-resident Ambassador of Poland to the Maldives Adam Burakowski, paid his farewell call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday.

The meeting took place at the President’s Office.

In the meeting, President Solih conveyed greetings and good wishes to Ambassador Burakowski and expressed gratitude for the remarkable services rendered under his leadership as the ambassador.

Both President Solih and Ambassador Burakowski also expressed interest in working closely to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly to enhance and strengthen the existing cooperation at the bilateral and multilateral levels during the meeting. They also discussed enhancing cooperation in tourism, trade, civil aviation, human resource development, and climate change.

Ambassador Burakowski also expressed confidence in further strengthening the Maldives-Poland relationship. His dedication to further enhancing the bilateral relationship between the two nations was commended by the President. 

President Solih also wished the ambassador success in all of his future endeavors.

Maldives and Poland established diplomatic relations on October 1, 1984.
