HOMT Espana awarded hospital projects in Gan and Gadhdhoo

Spanish contractor HOMT España has been awarded projects to run hospital development projects in L. Gan and GDh. Gadhdhoo.

The agreements were signed by State Minister for Health Ahmed Adil and HOMT España’s CEO Eduardo Oliveira in Male’ City on Thursday.

Under the agreements, HOMT España will develop a 130-bed tertiary hospital in Gan and a 30-bed hospital in Gadhdhoo.

The agreements also cover the development of accommodation blocks at the two hospitals, and providing furniture and medical equipment, and training of staff.

The two projects are valued at 79.5 million Euros.

The construction of the hospitals will be carried out by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The project is financed with a loan from the German-based Deutsche Bank.
