First Lady Fazna inaugurates ‘Riveli Exhibition 2022’

First Lady Fazna Ahmed, on Monday, inaugurated ‘Riveli Exhibition 2022’ – an annual exhibition aimed at showcasing, encouraging and promoting the skills of people with disabilities.

The exhibition organized by the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services is being held Dharubaaruge.

During the inauguration ceremony, First Lady Fazna presented certificates to exhibitors – following which she toured the exhibition.

Gender Ministry annually organizes the exhibition to showcase, encourage and promote the skills of people with disabilities. The exhibition also serves to inspire and empower persons with disabilities toward entrepreneurial work and employment.

This year’s exhibition will feature products by 95 exhibitors in five categories, including agriculture, food processing, and artisanal handicrafts. Visitors can tour the exhibition from 10:00am to 18:00pm, and 20:00pm to 22:00pm on Monday and Tuesday.
