Prominent Islamic scholar from Zimbabwe, Ismail ibn Musa Menk’s (Mufti Menk) last lecture in his ongoing visit to the Maldives is scheduled for tonight, at Hulhumale’.
Mufti Menk arrived in the Maldives on last Thursday.
He delivered his first lecture on Friday night, at Alimas Carnival in Male’ City, on the topic ‘Depression, Anxiety and Stress’. His second lecture was held on Saturday night, at Fuvahmulah City, on the topic ‘Islam, Kindness, and Benevolence’. His third lecture was held on Sunday night, at Addu City, on the topic ‘Productive Muslim’.
The last lecture by Mufti Menk, in his four-day visit to the Maldives, will be held tonight at Hulhumale’ Synthetic Track at 8:45pm. The topic of the lecture is ‘Dealing with Family Problems’.
This lecture was organized by Islamic Ministry in collaboration with Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
On Friday afternoon, Mufti Menk also delivered the sermon and led the Friday prayer at the Islamic Centre in Male’ City.
This is Mufti Menk’s fourth visit to the Maldives. Previously, he visited the island nation in 2015, 2016 and 2020 – during which he held religious lectures in Male’ City, Kulhudhuffushi City and Addu City.
