STELCO warns of possible power cut in Galolhu on Saturday morning

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has warned of possible service interruption in Galolhu district of Male’ City on Saturday morning.

Via a tweet on Friday, the utility company said that mandatory work pertaining to upgrading their distribution network will proceed on Saturday.

They detailed Gaolhu areas which may face service interruptions tomorrow morning between 8:00am and 12:00pm as Banafsaa Magu, Sahara Magu, Niyadhuru Magu, Bodurasgefaanu Magu, Raadhafathi Hingun, Ruhkendiya Hingun, Huvafenee Goalhi, Koimala Hingun, Dhonadharaadha Hingun, Dhoohimeri Magu, Lonuziyaarai Magu.

STELCO said that power will resume in those areas, if cut, as soon as the work is complete.

They apologized to customers for difficulties they may face due to service interruption.
