Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) on Saturday revealed that the most number of people to newly join the party together was from Addu City.
Under the party’s Addu City focal team, new membership forms were handed over to the party leader and Parliamentarian for Dh. Meedhoo Constituency Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.
Notably, this is the most number of new membership forms received by him at once.
The Deputy Chair for MDA’s Policy and Development Council Shuaib Ali revealed to Sun that in addition to the forms from Addu City, they were currently working on processing 8hundresds of forms from R. Atoll as well as many from N. Atoll as well.
Noting that the work to gain new members was going full speed ahead, he added that the Party’s Deputy Leader Ali Mauroof, MDA’s Council member Hussain Salim Mohamed and the other Deputy Leader Dr Aishath Rafiyya were leading this.
Additionally, he highlighted the work done by other senior personnel in gaining members from across Maldives.
“Our target is to become the most hopeful party that came into Maldives, and to make the party’s political work to be the one that’s carried out best. That has now been accepted by the media ad the people of Maldives.”
“The most hopeful party for the future, the most well-developed party and the one created to develop Maldives is still MDA. The name itself tells this.”
On a previous occasion, MP Siyam had stated that MDA was capable of winning the election without input from any coalitions.
