Man arrested for sexual abuse of young girl in Male’ shop

Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl in Male’ City.

The crime was reported to police on August 24.

According to police, the incident took place inside a shop in Male’.

Police arrested a suspect in the case under court order on Thursday.

The suspect was identified as a 24-year-old foreigner.

The case is under investigation by the police.
