President’s Office spokesperson Mabrook resigns

Mohamed Mabrook Azeez has resigned from his position as spokesperson at the President’s Office.

Sun is able to confirm his resignation through a credible source.

Mabrook was not immediately available for comment.

Mabrook is currently in Thailand, where he has been spending increasingly more time since his marriage to a Thai woman in December last year.

Prior to his appointment as spokesperson in January last year, Mabrook had served as undersecretary at the President’s Office. He because a public face with his role as the government’s spokesperson during the COVID-19 pandemic.
