Two injured during Eid celebrations in Dhaandhoo

Two young men sustained burn injuries Friday night while lighting a bonfire to celebrate Eid al-Adha in GA. Dhaandhoo.

Dhaandhoo Council’s president Mohamed Asif told Sun both young men sustained burn injuries to their hands and feet.

“Both burned their hands and feet,” he said.

Asif said their injuries weren’t serious.

Both men were taken to the Dhaandhoo Hospital.

“One was discharged after treatment at the hospital, the other continues to receive treatment,” he said.
