Dhiraagu has signed as the digital partner for the Addu Eid Festival which will be held in the Meedhoo district of Addu City this Eid al-Adha.
Addu Eid Festival is an initiative organized by the youth of Meedhoo.
Dhiraagu states the festival will be held over a period of three days and will include a variety of activities such as kula majaa, fen kulhi, children’s evening fairs, an Eid show, and an Eid tea – which will be held with the distribution of Eid gifts and prize.
Hawwa Mohamed, Director of Media and Communications of Meedhoo Dynamic Community, an organizing partner of the festival, thanked Dhiraagu for its continued support to such youth-led events.
“Eid al-Adha festivities are an important part of our culture, and we are grateful to Dhiraagu for helping us bring such a colorful event as the Addu Eid Festival to the public,” she said.
Jaishan Hameed, Assistant Manager Public Relations at Dhiraagu, said the company was delighted partner for the festival.
“Supporting youth initiatives such as this which promote the communal spirit within our society has always been important to Dhiraagu,” he said.
Dhiraagu said youth and community empowerment was a key focus area of the company. As such, the company has been providing support to different projects which would create opportunities for young people to work towards the betterment of their communities.
Dhiraagu said it continues to support and advocate for projects that promote youth and community development in the Maldives.
