Dhiraagu has renewed its partnership with Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) under the Partners for Humanity Initiative for 2025-26, reaffirming its commitment to supporting vital humanitarian services provided by MRC.
According to Dhiraagu, through this partnership, it will continue to support sustained humanitarian efforts that reach vulnerable communities across the country, both in times of disaster and in everyday situations.
The telecom company said the renewed partnership will empower MRC to continue providing critical services such as first aid, psychosocial support, and other key disaster response and recovery efforts. It will also enhance MRC’s ability to broaden its humanitarian reach across the country, ensuring swift and effective aid to vulnerable communities, Dhiraagu added.
Commenting on the matter, Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Bishara Hameed, said the telecom company deeply value the dedication and compassion that MRC team volunteers bring to those in need and honors their remarkable commitment.
“Through this partnership, we believe we can strengthen resilience, inspire hope, and create lasting positive change,” she added.
Dhiraagu emphasized that the renewed partnership with MRC underscores Dhiraagu’s commitment to assisting the most vulnerable during emergencies while further strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two organizations.
