India’s TCIL contracted to build hospitals in four islands

Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) has been contracted by Health Ministry to design and build hospitals in four islands in Maldives. 

The contract was signed by State Minister for Health Ahmed Adil and TCIL’s Executive Director Atul Kumar on Monday afternoon. 

Under the project, TCIL will design and build 50-bed hospitals in HA. Dhidhdhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, and GA. Vilingili, and a 30-bed hospital in R. Alifushi. 

The project is valued at USD 57.2 million. 

Health Ministry is also seeking contractors to build hospitals in additional islands.
