National Oratory Competition: Deadline for applications in individual category extended

Deadline for applications in the individual category of the 35th National Oratory Competition – currently underway in memory of Uz. Ibrahim Shihab – has been extended. 

In an announcement publicized today, Dhivehi Language Academy (Dhivehi Bahuge Academy) declared changes to the initial deadline set for submitting applications to enter the completion in the individual category.

As per the announcement, the new deadline for applications is 1:00pm on May 30.

Application form, regulations of the competition and other documents pertaining to the competition will be available at Dhivehi Language Academy and their website. Dhivehi Language Academy has instructed those who wish to inquire further information to contact them at 7986230.

National Oratory Competition commenced after a two-year break last week. The national-level competition was withheld in the past two years over the safety risks posed by COVID-19 pandemic.

The competition is being held at the hall of Maldives Polytechnic in Male’ from 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm, 04:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and 08:00 pm to 10:00 pm each day.
