Pre-registration for MTCC’s 2021 AGM closes tonight

The pre-registration deadline for shareholders who wish to attend Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC)’s 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is set to expire tonight.

The pre-registration deadline is set for 08:30 pm tonight.

MTCC’s 2021 AGM is scheduled to be held at Kurumba Maldives’s Bougainville Maalan on May 19.

Shareholders have the option of attending the AGM in person, virtually, or via proxy.

MTCC states voting will be held via the Fahi Vote app. Shareholders have been asked to attend the meeting with devices that support the app.

Shareholders who wish to attend the AGM have been asked to register via Maldives Security Depositary’s Infinity Portal, or by emailing the application form to [email protected].

The 2021 annual report released by MTCC shows the company generated a revenue of MVR 1.95 billion - a 44 percent increase compared to 2020.

The company also generated a profit of MVR 264 million, marking the best financial performance in its 41-year-long history.

MTCC’s Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of MVR 3.50.
