Maldives Meteorological Services (MET) issued a yellow alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms from Haa Alif to Baa Atoll.
According to the alert issued by the Met office, torrential rain and thunderstorms are to be expected.
The alert is effective from 21:30 PM to 02:30 AM this Thursday through Friday.
Maldives has been experiencing stormy weather the past few days, with various areas of the country experiencing heavy showers.
