Man injured in violent altercation at Thinadhoo

A man is being treated at the hospital after being injured in a violent altercation at GDh. Thinadhoo.

Police said that they were informed of a violent altercation in Thinadhoo at around 9:30pm tonight.

Although the Police did not disclose the number of people involved in the altercation, they confirmed that an injured Maldivian man is currently being treated for injuries at the hospital.

“No arrests have been made regarding the case yet. We are investigating the case further,” the Police had said.

A violent altercation also took place at Hullhumale’ Phase II tonight, which involved a group of migrants.

Police confirmed that three migrants injured in the altercation were being treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital.
