The first saloon at Hulhumale’ Phase II was opened today.
Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said that the saloon which was opened today will be located at H15 tower’s ground floor.
Ali Shareef, the owner of Shiyaa Saloon which was opened at Hulhumale’ Phase II today told Sun that hair cutting services will be available at the saloon presently.
He further detailed that the services available at Shiyaa Saloon’s Male’ outlet will also be available at the newly established one.
This is the only outlet of Shiyaa Saloon in Hulhumale’.
Shareef said that hairdressers working in the saloon are Indian nationals, who are fluent in Dhivehi language.
He also detailed that work on the saloon at Hiyaa Flat was completed within the timeframe of one month and a half, after it commenced in last November.
Efforts are underway to open shops, clinics, pharmacies and other service outlets at Hiyaa Flats.
Whilst two temporary mosques have been built by the government at Hulhumale’ Phase 2 – one permanent mosque, Masjid Ameel Jaleel, which was built by a private party is also currently in use.
