Ambulances brought for 15 islands

State Trading Organization announced that the third batch containing 15 ambulances, under the MoU signed with the government was brought to Maldives.

As STO’s tweet, they “aim to dispatch this additional 15 ambulance to the respective islands soon.”

The first batch was brought in on October 2021, followed by a second shipment in November. All the ambulances brought in those shipments have now been sent to islands.

During the Presidential address, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said that the government was working to bring remaining ambulances to all the atolls by end of March.  

 

In May 2021, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance and STO signed an MOU to bring a total of 96 ambulances in to Maldives.
