Twitter’s beloved: Saif passes away due to rare cancer

Beloved local Twitter personality Ali Saif Latheef (@psyphs) passes away amidst treatment for rare cancer.

His brother, Hamza Latheef announced via Twitter that Saif passed away at 05:42 am on Monday.

In his statement, Hamza expressed his grief, stating that “Words cannot describe what he meant to me.”

Making a note of the mass of followers and friends of Saif, he asked for help in spreading the word of his brother’s passing.

Saif gained the interest of local Twitter for the candid and honest dictation of his battle with the botryoid variant of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

Social media noted his bravery despite all the hardships he was going through, with many closely following his journey and praying for his recovery.

Following the news of his death, local Twitter has been flooded with messages of condolences, with many speaking of the positivity he spread.

At the time of his passing, he was undergoing treatment at India’s Amritha Hospital. Cancer was first found on his bladder, which spread to the surrounding organs.
