Bangladesh’s largest private airline, US-Bangla Airlines, is scheduled to start operating direct flights to Maldives in November.
US-Bangla Airlines has announced in will begin Dhaka-Male' flights in the third week of November.
The airline is going to operate flights on Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route four days a week, announced US-Bangla Airlines in a press release.
The airlines will use the 164-seat Boeing 737-800 for flights on this route.
US-Bangla Airlines said they decided to begin flights to Maldives to accommodate Bangladeshi tourists who wish to travel to the island destination, and to fulfill the long-standing expectations of Bangladeshis working in Maldives.
The airline has also announced plans to launch flights to Colombo, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam soon.
