Man injured in stabbing in Hithadhoo shop

 A man has been injured after getting attacked with a sharp-edged weapon inside a shop in Hithadhoo district of Addu City. 

The incident was reported to the police at approximately 07:30 pm this Saturday. 

A police spokesperson who spoke to Sun identified the victim as a 42-year-old Maldivian male. 

He is being treated at the Addu Equatorial Hospital. 

The police said they have yet to make an arrest, but are investigating the case.
