IGMH, Addu Equatorial Hospital to resume physical consultations on Sunday

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ and Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) are both set to resume physical consultations on Sunday.

The alarming surge in COVID-19 cases in Maldives last May forced IGMH and AEH to temporarily downgrade their services. Both hospitals have been gradually resuming services in light to the improvement in the situation in Male’ and Addu.

IGMH has announced that all its departments will resume physical OPD consultations on Sunday.

AEH, which had been open only for limited physical consultations since June 20, has announced that it will resume regular physical consultations starting Sunday.

IGMH services:

• OPD services available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, expect for Fridays
• Physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• Speech therapy sessions available 08:00-14:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• Services provided by Center for Mental Health available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• Services provided by Radiology Department available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• Laboratory services available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• TMT, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy services available 08:00-16:00 hours daily, except for Fridays
• Preplanned surgeries have been resumed
