1 injured in stabbing in Addu City

Police have launched an investigating into a stabbing in Addu City on Saturday, which left one person injured.

Police said they received report of a violent altercation in the Hithadhoo district of Addu City at approximately 09:16 pm.

The police confirm one person was injured with a sharp-edged weapon in the incident.

The person injured is being treated at the Addu Equatorial Hospital.

The police have yet to make any arrests in connection to the case.
