Vice President Faisal Naseem discharged from hospital

Maldivian Vice President Faisal Naseem has recovered following a bout of illness which led to him being hospitalized in Male’.

President’s Office spokesperson Mabrook Azeez announced on Saturday that the Vice President has been discharged from the hospital and is in good health.

VP Faisal Naseem, 47, was admitted to the Dharumavantha Hospital in Male’ on February 23 with high fever.

The President’s Office said last week that his test for COVID-19 came back negative.
