Two arrested over sexual abuse of woman on board safari

Two individuals have been arrested under suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman on board a safari docked in Hulhumale harbor.

A police media official confirmed that police had raided a safari in Hulhumale' harbor area around 5:00.

The two arrested are both men and are aged 39. They were arrested at the scene of the crime.

Police are now investigating the case. 

Sexual abuse cases have been on the rise in the country as of lately. Two cases of rape involving underage girls were reported from Male' City recently while a series of sexual assaults targetted at elderly women were also reported in Addu City.
