Thailand donates 10 mini ventilators to Maldives

The government of Thailand and the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has donated 10 mini ventilators to the Maldives to assist in the country’s efforts against COVID-19.

In a ceremony held at the KMITL, a demo regarding the ventilators were shown.

A tweet by Maldivian ambassador to the Thailand Mohamed Jinah, who received the ventilators on behalf of Maldives, said that the machinery were emergency ventilators. The ambassador also noted that the machinery was donated by the Thai citizens to the Maldives.

The ambassador also thanked the Foreign Ministry of Thailand and Honorary Counsel for the gracious donations. He did not give an exact date for the ventilators to be transported to the Maldives.
