Neighboring India is also similarly assisting the Maldives in its fight to contain the virus effectively. India recently provided important medications to the Maldives that will be of importance in the government efforts against the pandemic virus.
The Maldives has so far confirmed 14 cases of the virus. The most recent case was of a local that arrived back in the country from the UK.
