Stelco advises using online payment applications

State Electric Company (STELCO) has advised customers to use its online application to make payments for its services.

The company made that announcement in order to facilitate the government orders discouraging gatherings in public following the situation with the Covid-19 virus in the country.

The government has previously stated that due to an impending financial situation that subsidies for 40 percent from electricity bills and 30 percent from water bills will be provided to the public.

STELCO will be subsiding its bills for the months of April and May following this announcement by the government. The company also advised customers to remain alert while staying at home and reduce wastage since the country is experiencing a hot weather spell.
