English Premier League champions Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been invited by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Company (MMPRC) for a round of golf in the Maldives.
The Spaniard had stated in a news conference yesterday before the clash with rivals Manchester United in the Carabao Cup win, that he would rather spend his days in the Maldives than coach Manchester United.
“After training City, I will never train them (United), I would not train [Real] Madrid [after Barcelona]. I’d be in the Maldives if I don’t have any offers. Maybe not the Maldives because it doesn’t have any golf courses.” said Guardiola.
Hi Pep Guardiola! We are delighted to hear that you are interested to spend a holiday in #Maldives and would like to invite you over for a game of #golf in one of the golf courses in Maldives! ???????? #VisitMaldives

What Pep does not know, is that several Maldivian resorts do have golf courses. MMPRC the marketing arm of the Tourism Ministry extended an invitation to the world-renowned coach to spend his holiday in the country, after welcoming the prospect, in a tweet sent out from its official account.
Guardiola did visit the Maldives to spend his holiday last year.
