IGMH opens an oncology pharmacy

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has opened a specialized oncology pharmacy at its premises.

The pharmacy was opened by IGMH’s CEO Ibrahim Saleem and Maldives’ first and only surgical oncologist, Dr. Mohamed Shifan, this Wednesday morning.

The pharmacy is located inside IGMH’s Oncology Department, and will be open from 9 am to 4 pm on all days its OPD is open.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, CEO Ibrahim Saleem reiterated the hospital’s commitment to improving accessibility to healthcare services. He said that it was for the very same purpose that the hospital chose to open the pharmacy inside its Oncology Department.
