The 3rd Meeting of SAARC Ministers of Education and Higher Education began in Maldives this Thursday.
The meeting is being hosted at Crossroads Maldives, and is being attended by officials from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, and the Maldives.
The meeting, which will continue until Friday, is being chaired by the Maldivian State Minister for Education, Dr. Abdulla Rasheed.
SAARC member countries have presented reports on the extent to which decisions passed at the 2nd Meeting of SAARC Ministers of Education and Higher Education have been enforced in each member country.
They are also scheduled to present two papers; The Male’ Declaration, and the Education 2030: SAARC Framework for Action on Friday.
