Search for local who threw water on migrant underway

Police have stated that they are searching for the person who was filmed on camera while throwing a bucket of water at a migrant.

The video of the Maldivian man throwing the bucket of water at the migrant worker who was seated on a motorcycle has gone viral on social media with many condemning the person's actions. Many people have also called for the Maldivian man to be punished. Police have stated that they were investigating the matter and that they were looking for the people involved in the incident. 

A Facebook page named "Filikoalhi" is also working to find the migrant who was subjected to the degrading action of the Maldivian. The page has stated that they are willing to donate a phone, T-Shirt, and Shorts to the migrant in the video.
