Regional Airports Company has announced that over 400 have applied for 25 vacancies at the H. Dh. Kulhudhuffushi Airport.
Regional Airports Company’s Deputy Director General, Ahmed Shameem reported to Sun this Tuesday that 207 of the 400 applicants qualified for the posts.
He said that applicants who failed to qualify have been notified.
“The most applications were for janitorial position. We will begin interviewing the applicants on Thursday,” said Shameem.
He provided assurance the Regional Airports Company will make its recruitment decisions based on civil service guidelines.
The 25 vacancies for 13 posts - including that for directors, operation officers, guards, firefighters and janitors - at Kulhudhuffushi Airport was announced in late July.
