The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives opens after rebranding

The resort in R. Huruvalhi, previously called Carpe Diem Maldives, has reopened as The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives.

Standard International is a US company. The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is the brand’s first tourist property in Asia.

The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives, which opened after rebranding this August features 115 private pool villas.

It also features restaurants which offer six different types of cuisines, including local Maldivian cuisine and fresh seafood barbecue.

The Standard runs high-end resorts in the UK and US and has announced plans to develop additional properties in the Asia Pacific region.
