Massive Dhiraagu Pay discount for participants of road race

Dhiraagu has stated that it will be offering participants of its road race, 50 percent discount on Dhiraagu Pay.

Dhiraagu stated that 1000 runners who purchase items through Dhiraagu Pay will receive the discount and can pay the registration fee for the road race through Dhiraagu Pay and BML as well.

The total fee for registration is MVR 100 which will be reduced to MVR 50 if paid through Dhiraagu Pay. Dhiraagu will also allow donations from runners which will go to child rights protection organizations.

Dhiraagu Pay is a cashless wallet feature introduced by Dhiraagu and can be downloaded through the play store and app store.

Registration for the road race which will be held on September 20, has now been opened. The road race will be held in two categories this year. They are the 10-kilometer run and 5-kilometer run. The 10-kilometer run category will be held at 6:00 in the morning and the 5-kilometer run will b held around 4:30 in the evening and can be participated by the runners from the morning run as well.

Dhiraagu road race has been held since 2007 and this will be the 13th year that the internationally accredited run is held. Runners will be able to choose their bib numbers this year for a fee of MVR 500.

Dhiraaudonated around MVR 600,000 to ten non-governmental organizations. The money included the registration fees of the runners and MVR 200,000 gifted by Dhiraagu to five organizations chosen by the participants of the run.
