President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed a fourth person to the position of Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economic Development.
The newly appointed Deputy of the Economic Ministry is Mariyam Nazima, Ma. Arizona.
Nazima has previously filled the position of President of the Employment Tribunal, as well as the Assistant Director General of Ministry of Youth. She also filled the position of Deputy Director of Higher Education Employment and Social Security.
The newly appointed Deputy received her Master’s in Human Resource Planning and Development from New Delhi, India. She received Bachelors of Commerce in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Australia.
With the appointment of Nazima the Ministry now has four deputies; Nazima, Aminath Mohamed Saleem, Mariyam Visam (also Company Registrar), and Hussain Zameer.
