Private medical facility, ADK Hospital has announced plans to revise its rates, starting from March 1.
In a statement this Thursday, ADK Hospital said it had been facing mounting expenses due to increase in cost of providing its services and increase in expenditure on its staff due to inflation.
It said the expenditure on staff salary and allowance rose by 115 percent and expenditure on machinery, consumables and other procurements rose by 117 percent from 2008 to 2012.
“The aforementioned factors make it financially implausible to continue providing our services without revising the rates. We therefore announce the decision to revise the rates of our services,” reads the statement.
Some of the rates which will be revised includes consultation fee, hospitalization fee, and the rate of some of the surgeries offered at the hospital.
A full list of the revised rates and services is posted at the reception of the hospital.
ADK Hospital recently underwent expansion of its services by recruiting specialists and super specialists in various medical areas.
The hospital currently offers services of 15 specialist and 8 super specialist doctors.
