Income statement of political appointees to President’s Office to be released next week

The income statement of all political appointees to the President’s Office is scheduled to be released next week.

Delivering a press presentation on the administration’s 100 Day Pledges this Thursday morning, Policy Secretary at the President’s Office, Aminath Shauna said the income statement of all political appointees to the office will be released in the coming week.

“In Sha Allah, the income statement of President, Vice President, Cabinet ministers and all political appointees to this office will be released next week,” said Shauna.

Meanwhile, President’s Spokesperson and Chief Communications Strategist at the President’s Office, Ibrahim Hoodh said the administration plans on releasing the income statement of all its political appointees to the public.

Publicizing income statements of political appointees in order to increase transparency is one of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s electoral pledges.
