Public opinion sought for school breakfast program

Ministry of Education has announced a public forum to seek public opinion on the government’s pilot school breakfast program.

The forum is scheduled for 8:30 pm on December 23 at Aminiya School, and is open to the general public, including parents of school students.

Ministry of Education announced on Thursday that the pilot run of the breakfast program will be launched at the beginning of the next academic year in 25 schools.

The ministry, during its forum on December 23, will provide information on the pilot program and seek public opinion on the program.

It has already prepared 10 menus for the program with assistance from UNICEF.

The school breakfast program is one of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s First 100-Day Goals.
