Adhurey: I will always stand behind President Yameen regardless of political state

Vice President of PPM, Abdul Raheem Abdulla (Adhurey) has said that would always stand behind the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom regardless of any change to the political state of the country.  

In a tweet sent out after the Supreme Court ruling that said that there was no basis to nullify the result of the recent Presidential Election, Adhureys, also the MP for Fonadhoo constituency, said that no matter how the political state changes in the country, he would stand behind the President and always be proud of him.  

Supreme Court has ruled it has found no grounds to nullify the results of the presidential elections. The petition to nullify the results of the presidential election was filed by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, who alleges the election was rigged.Supreme Court issued its verdict on the case this Sunday afternoon. 

The court made its judgement with the unanimous vote of all five Supreme Court judges. 

The court ruled there was no grounds to nullify the results of the election. And that the appellant failed to provide sufficient evidence or constitutional reasons why the election should be nullified.
