Sea swells are affecting islands across the country during high tide.
And so the capital, Male' City, too, has been affected by the swells wave surges.
The MET Office issued a White Alert today sating that swell wave surges are expected in the central an the southern atolls.
An official from the MET Office told Sun Media that it is most expected between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. tonight across the country. He said that it was being caused by the weather during high tide and is expected to continue tomorrow as well.
The high tide for the northern atolls tomorrow is at 9:07 a.m., 9:56 a.m. for the central atolls and 10:43 a.m. in the southern atolls. MET Office said that it would be high tide across the country when the sun sets tomorrow.
