Two Maldivians arrested in Sri Lanka with 'party drugs' worth over LKR 10M

In a special operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force of Sri Lanka, two Maldives have been arrested in Sri Lanka with a large quantity of 'party drugs' valued over LKR 10 million. 

Sri Lanka's Daily Mirror reported that the two Maldivians arrested in the special operation are of ages 19 and 25 years of age taking residencies in Dehiwala and Kalubowila in Colombo. 

The news outlet reported that 1,925 pills of "party drugs" were found with the two men in the largest drugs bust of "party drugs" by the Special Task Force and the drugs are valued over LKR 10 million. 

The Sri Lankan Police said that the two men smuggled the drugs from Netherlands and the two men were selling them in Sri Lanka alongside trafficking the drugs to other countries.
