Two smugglers arrested with over 3 kgs of drugs

Two foreigners have been arrested for smuggling over 3 kilograms of drugs to the Maldives.

Police said the suspects are two women, one from Thailand and the other from an African country.

Police are currently searching a guest house in Male’.

Police thanked Maldives Customs Service for its assistance in relation to this operation, and said that the case is under investigation by the Maldives Police Drug Enforcement Department.
