Sole Proprietorship Bill and two other bills ratified

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has on Tuesday ratified three bills.

The three bills; Sole Proprietorship Bill, Business Registration Bill and the Fourth Amendment to the Maldives Land Act, were passed by the Parliament at the Eighth sitting of its First Session, on 27 April 2014.

Following ratification, the Acts have been published in the government Gazette.

Third Amendment Bill to the Maldives Land Act was also passed by the Parliament. However, the bill was returned to Parliament on Tuesday for reconsideration.
