Female drug dealer arrested with over MVR 50,000 cash

The police have arrested a 56-year-old woman and seized drugs and more than MVR 50,000 cash.

Police said that the woman was arrested in Ma. Kismireege at around 10:30 a.m. today, in an operation that followed a tip-off about the drug dealer.

The police seized 19 packets of drugs, more than MVR 50,000 and $1,700 cash, and sharp objects used for assault from her room in Kismireege.
